Welcome to my Asakusa Trip

Good morning, my name is Amartya Mukherjee and
welcome to my blog. I have been to Asakusa with my school mates and had a very
interesting time there. This image is the Kaminarimon gate (meaning: lightning
gate). It is the main entrance to the shrine. Lots of people go visit there
mainly because it is one of the most holiest shrines in Japan.

What this is About

This is actually a school project on interviewing tourists visiting asakusa shrine. I have interviewed 4 people and got some interesting answers from them.

Why go to Asakusa Shrine

Most people go to Asakusa because it is the most sacred shrine in Tokyo. It is easy to find tourists there. People like the food that they are selling there. Even there are different types of souveniers
like toys, strap hangers, etc. But they also go to pray to god. I have been there about 20 times now and I go to pray to god to make me good in studies.
